Public record / Privacy
Local tools.
Minimal data.
P/Labs has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking profiles. Tool inputs stay on your device. A small amount of technical data is still processed when the site and its required files are delivered to your browser.
Effective 29 July 2026
Who operates this site
P/Labs is operated by Aleksandr Pugachev, a Germany-based software developer.
Site delivery
Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. When you visit, ordinary technical request data such as your IP address, request time, requested page, browser details, and security-related information may be processed by Cloudflare to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse.
P/Labs does not use this request data for advertising, visitor profiling, or audience analytics. Infrastructure providers may retain operational records under their own security and retention practices.
Background Remover
Selected images and generated cutouts are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to P/Labs, Cloudflare, Hugging Face, or a background-removal service.
On first use, your browser requests the required machine-learning model from Hugging Face. Hugging Face therefore receives the technical information that accompanies an ordinary file download, such as your IP address and browser request details. Desktop browsers may cache the model locally so it can be reused.
Mermaid Viewer
Diagram source and rendered diagrams stay in your browser. The latest source is stored locally so it can be restored on your next visit. P/Labs does not receive, upload, or remotely store it.
Storage on your device
The site uses browser storage only for features you request:
- Your light, dark, or system theme preference.
- The latest Mermaid source entered in the viewer.
- The Background Remover model cache on supported desktop browsers.
These items remain on your device until they are overwritten or you clear this site’s browser data. The site code does not set tracking cookies and does not use a consent banner.
EU and EEA visitors
Where the GDPR applies, technical request data is processed to provide and secure the site. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure public website. Data may be processed outside your country by the infrastructure providers involved in delivery.
P/Labs does not keep a visitor account, profile, or personal-data database, so it has no visitor records to access, correct, or delete. Questions about the technical request data handled to deliver the site should be directed to the provider that processed it.
United States visitors
P/Labs does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. The site does not track activity across other websites, so Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals do not change its behavior.
Children
This is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. P/Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. The policy will be updated when the tools or their data flows change.
